We are looking for Waking Nights Support Workers to join our growing team in Walberton, Sussex. Experience is not essential as we will provide you with support and training to become a confident Support Worker. Hft is a charity that supports adults with learning disabilities. Our service at Walberton is a busy residential service for adults with high support needs. Every day is different and you will support people in the following areas:

  • Supporting with personal care
  • Medication
  • Support with hydration and nutritional needs

What will you be doing?

*         Assisting with taking medication

*         Monitoring people we support due to medical needs, such as seizures

*         Provide support during the night when the people you are supporting are awake and are struggling to go back to sleep

*         Support with personal care

*         Updating files such as finance logs and support plans

*         General household tasks, such as cleaning, washing and ironing

*         Performing security checks, including fire checks

This is your opportunity to make a real difference to people's lives. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. Full and part time positions available. You will need to have flexibility to work shifts, weekends and bank holidays.
