What will you be doing?
* You’ll be supporting 6 individuals with Learning Difficulties between the ages of 20- 60 in their own home. Supporting 6 individuals it can be a busy house and lots of coming and going.
* You’ll be involved in supporting them in all activities of daily living as need to help them to live their lives how they want to.
* You will empower them to make decisions for themselves, achieve their own dreams, goals and aspirations.
* You will support them to ensure they are actively involved in their local community.
* Assisting them to make maintain relationships with friends and family and support them to be as independent as possible by assisting them to learn life skills such as cooking and cleaning, managing finances, socialising and support in engaging in meaningful hobbies/activities.
The people you will be supporting would like you to be patient, outgoing but not loud. They have also expressed that they would like someone who enjoys the outdoors, watching films, trains, and discos.
This is your opportunity to make a real difference to people's lives. A full UK driving licence is desirable for this role - access to public transport is needed for those without a licence. Full and part time opportunities available. You will need to have flexibility to work shifts, including sleep in nights, weekends and bank holidays.
