We’re recruiting!

Join us as a Learning Disability Support Worker and create a future where learning disabled people live the best life possible.

We’re seeking a dedicated Support Worker with a manual driving license (vehicle provided) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in Positive Behavior Support (PBS) and be experienced in managing challenging behaviors. Proficiency in manual handling is essential to ensure the well-being of the people we support. Above all, we would like someone who is passionate about giving individuals a chance to progress through a person-centred approach.

Join us in creating an enriching environment for five mature individuals living together, all of which have their own schedule, whether that’s going to a day Centre, activities within the community, doing jobs around the house or spending time together. We foster a positive atmosphere with a focus on healthy eating and any experience in these areas is a bonus.

We value consistency of care and are looking for someone who can contribute positively to our team’s efforts in providing stable support. If you’re passionate about making a difference and enjoy working in an upbeat setting, we would love to hear from you.

We know that life can be complicated for everybody. But some of us are stopped from working towards our dreams. Many learning disabled people won’t be heard about the support they’d like. Some won’t get to decide what they do for work. Or how to spend or save their money. Many won't get to try out the new hobbies they’d love to try.

But you can change all that.

Join our growing team in  Neston, Cheshire, and get all the training you need to become a confident Support Worker.

Do you feel like our values - Kind, Diverse, Positive and Visionary - are a good match to your values? Then we’ve got lots in common already. Come on board and support learning disabled adults with those very values to develop skills, achieve their life goals and thrive in your community.

What we offer you

 Your salary:* £12 per hour

Generous Holidays: * 33 days of annual leave (including eight days statutory bank holidays).

What you’ll be doing

Every day is different. Supporting someone to plan their weekly shop, to going on an outdoor adventure. Providing everyday personal care to supporting someone to go to their favorite gig. From building someone’s confidence in using public transport to teaching money management skills. What’s important is supporting people to discover new interests, achieve new goals and maintain important relationships with their family and friends.

You’ll provide the highest possible standard of care and support for learning disabled adults. Listening to their wants and needs, enabling people to do daily tasks such as taking medication, cooking a meal or working with them to build their confidence and take on new adventures they are longing for. All this while working a variety of shifts to support your work and home life balance.
