We’re recruiting!

Join us as a Learning Disability Support Worker (Casual) and create a future where learning disabled people live the best life possible.

We know that life can be complicated for everybody. But some of us are stopped from working towards our dreams. Many learning disabled people won’t be heard about the support they’d like. Some won’t get to decide what they do for work. Or how to spend or save their money. Many won't get to try out the new hobbies they’d love to try.

But you can change all that

Join our growing team in Stratford Upon Avon, and get all the training you need to become a confident Support Worker.

Do you feel like our values - Kind, Diverse, Positive and Visionary - are a good match to your values? Then we’ve got lots in common already. Come on board and support learning disabled adults with those very values to develop skills, achieve their life goals and thrive in your community.

What we offer you

  • Where you’ll be working: Stratford Upon Avon
  • Your salary: £12.82 per hour ( £11.44 per hour plus 12.07% holiday pay)
  • Your working hours: A mixture of early, late and weekend working.
  • Pay incentives:  10% overtime allowance, 20% Bank Holiday allowance, 50% for key dates over Christmas.
  • Training & development:  Access to award winning training and development.
  • Lots of benefits:  Health and financial support to use how you want.

What you’ll be doing

Every day is different. This can vary from supporting someone to plan their weekly shop, to going on an outdoor adventure. Providing everyday personal care to supporting someone to go to their favourite gig. Building someone’s confidence in using public transport to teaching money management skills. What’s important is supporting people to discover new interests, achieve new goals and maintain important relationships with their family and friends.

You’ll provide the highest possible standard of care and support for learning disabled adults. Listening to their wants and needs, enabling people to do daily tasks such as taking medication, cooking a meal or working with them to build their confidence and take on new adventures they are longing for. All this while working a variety of shifts to support your work and home life balance.

Public transport to our service here is limited so it would be great if you had a driving licence and access to a car, or are able to get help getting to and from the service.

We can’t wait to meet you at our Stratford Upon Avon service!
