What will you be doing? Media growth is an important objective for Hft as we work to significantly increase awareness of our charity and the work we do in supporting adults with learning disabilities to live the best lives possible.
Working in the Brand, Communications & Marketing Team, our new PR & Media Officer will play a key role in supporting the achievement of our external promotion strategy. The post holder will work with the Communications and Marketing Manager in building on our external brand awareness, fundraising and campaigning. We want more people to know who we are, what we do and why it’s so important. You will help Hft to reach to new audiences, achieve our strategic goals and build relationships key influencers to make change in the social care sector.
This might mean writing compelling press releases, opinion pieces and case studies to catch the eye of the public. Building relationships with the media to ensure Hft is the go to expert on sector issues. Helping to build events to influence the Government in key policies impacting learning disabled people and the wider sector. Working alongside the marketing and fundraising team to produce cross channel campaigns to reach new audiences. It's a varied role with plenty of opportunity to get involved in supporting our charity. If that sounds appealing, we want to hear from you!
