We are looking for Waking Night Support Workers to join our growing team in Tregadillett, Launceston.. Experience is not essential as we will provide you with support and training to become a confident Waking Night Support Worker. Hft is a charity that supports adults with learning disabilities. WAKING NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER

 

What will you be doing?

 

*       You’ll be involved in supporting them in all activities of daily living as need to help them to live their lives how they want to.

*       You will empower them to make decisions for themselves, achieve their own dreams, goals and aspirations.

*       You will support them to ensure they are actively involved in their local community.

*       Assisting them to make maintain relationships with friends and family and support them to be as independent as possible by assisting them to learn life skills such as cooking and cleaning, managing finances, socialising and support in engaging in meaningful hobbies/activities.

 

The people you will be supporting would like you to be patient, outgoing but not loud. They have also expressed that they would like someone who enjoys the outdoors, watching films, trains, and discos.

  • Type of service- Supporting individuals with learning disabilities.
  • Working hours: We are looking for people who are able to work 30hrs or more per week
  • Location- Tregadillett, Launceston
  • Salary- £12.90
  • Working hours – 9.30pm - 07.30am
  • Up to 50% bank holiday allowance**

Right to work in the UK on a full-time/part-time basis without the need for sponsorship (Required).
