Accounting Transaction Services Manager

About the Role
As an Accounting Transaction Services Manager, you will oversee sales and purchase ledger processes, ensuring all transactions are handled efficiently and in line with KPIs. You will manage a team of four, fostering a high-performance culture and continuously improving financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee end-to-end sales and purchase ledger processes to ensure accurate and timely transactions.
* Manage supplier payments, ensuring correct authorisation and VAT treatment.
* Monitor cash flow forecasting and assist with financial reporting.
* Lead supplier statement reconciliations, escalating issues as needed.
* Manage and develop employee expense and credit card processes.
* Support month-end processes, including accruals and payroll journal reviews.
* Drive continuous process improvements within financial transactions.
* Lead and develop your team through recruitment, training, and performance management.
What We’re Looking For
* Professional Accountancy Qualification (AAT) or working towards ACCA/CIMA.
* Strong experience in purchase and sales ledger management within a P2P purchase ordering system.
* Experience in team management, supplier query resolution, and control account reconciliation.
* Advanced IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
* A detail-oriented and proactive mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Additional Information
Hybrid Working – Bristol Office & Home (minimum 1 day in office per week)
Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)
